My boyfriend have been fled to Peru to meet his ex-classmates for an ex-classmate reunion event at his military academy three days before I arrived to the airport in Lima, Peru. When I arrived to the airport, my boyfriend and his best friend were there to pick me up and have dinner at a nearby restaurant. We enjoyed the dinner!
After we were visited some family's friend in Lima, we drove to the travel agency so we could make the arrangements to travel next day to the providence of Cusco. What a surprise! My boyfriend booked two flights to travel to one of the wonders of the World, Machu Picchu. So next day, we traveled to Cusco.
After we arrived to the Cusco's airport, we took a taxi cab to drive for about three miles and stay at our old friend Jorge to spend the night for the next day trip to Machupichu.
Machu Picchu had an spectacular view of the ruins of the Inca Empire with an elevated height of 7,970 above mean sea level and was built around the year of 1450 and often referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of Inca civilization Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction in the world.
I had enjoyed it so much and it was an amazing day for me.
OMG! That's one of the places that I always dream to go. It's so much to learn from their history. Hopefully I have the opportunity to visit Peru one day.
ReplyDeleteThat it will be a great experience and you will enjoy it so much! It is very amazing to visit this place. You just get there only by train after you have traveled for long. There is a big hotel next to this attraction's entrance and just get there by bus. The city of Cusco, where is Machu Picchu placed,the downtown is so beautiful at night and very lighted around the Plaza.
DeleteIt's always nice to travel to places and see other cultures. Learn more about life ouside where we were born or live. It opens our conception of who we thought we were until we see how other people live, their believes. And every door looks like an adventure. Your mind is more open to the unknown and you easily embrace differences.
